Coastal Container Line is the major lift-on lift-off operator on the Irish Sea with regular services between Liverpool and Cardiff and Belfast and Dublin. BG Freight Line, links Rotterdam and Antwerp with Southampton and Felixstowe in South East England, and in Ireland, Cork, Dublin and Belfast. Its East Coast service - formerly Concorde Container Line - regularly runs from Antwerp up the East Coast of the UK as far as Grangemouth in Scotland.

BG Freight also offers Scottish and Irish shippers a twice weekly feeder service down the Irish Sea linking Greenock, Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool, the Manchester Ship Canal and Southampton.
