Irish Sea Terminals

The Irish Sea Terminals division of Peel Ports Group encompasses operations in the ports of Dublin, Belfast and Cardiff. Together they handle more than 500,000 teus per annum.

Dublin

Marine Terminals Limited, Ireland's premier container terminal located at Dublin, offers the best in container facilities and service following a £16 million investment in infrastructure, cranes and other equipment. MTL's customers include CMA CGM, Samskip, Maersk, Coastal Container Line, MacAndrews and BG Freight Line. MTL has a total annual throughput of more than 240,000 units.

Belfast

Victoria Terminal 3 at the Port of Belfast handles nearly 200,000 units and lists among its customers Express Line, Samskip, CMA CGM, Coastal Container Line and BG Freight Line.

Cardiff

Cardiff Container Terminal, the only such facility in the Principality of Wales, handles over 40,000 units a year. It has seen recent investment in new rail mounted gantry cranes, new warehousing and enhancement of a rail link which regularly handles trains carrying both containers and steel for regional distribution and shipment to Ireland.
